Here is a pictures of my "stash". A lot of it is old, old acrylics. I cannot for the life of me throw any of it out. I probably should since I might not ever knit with it! But, I have several old vintage crochet books, with 'granny' afgahns and vests that use exactly the yarn I have. I do have a nice supply of wool yarn that I found while thrift store shopping!! But, I can't think of what I want to use it for. :)

After all this time I'm pretty sure I'm a cotton girl. I love, love, love knitting with cotton.

When I opened my gmail this morning, I got my Ravelry invitation!! Whoop!!!! I was so excited I could barely type! (<---shows level of excitement) It's a dream! I love having everything so organized and seeing so many patterns and other knitters!! It's great. I have already made a list of projects I want to make and as funny as it is, will probably start taking photos of my yarn...Yarn nuts like seeing pictures of yarn I guess. I'm more of a cotton project girl I guess! And if you didn't notice...here are some photos of my 'craft' room. I haven't always been so lucky where I had a whole room for my crafty pleasure! I can only thank God that I have such a lovely lovely room! I have places for all my 'stations'. This is my collage and art table.---------------->

I put my pink shawl on the table because I didn't want you to see the glue or paint crud that has accumulated from my painting/collaging adventures.

And this is my library section. I started to fill these shelves with books before I realized that I don't really have enough shelf space. So, I'm holding off a little and trying to organize my books in a way that I can fit in the ones I like and toss the ones I don't want any longer.

And lastly, my baby girl. I love her eyes. She was attempting to make a pouty face, but her disposition leads her to only being able to smile. You can see it in her eyes! hehe. Jolie has no relation to my craft room, or knitting...I just thought she was cute in this pic. :D

pillowfarmer. Out.

Oh joy of joys! It is scary how such beautiful organization makes me smile like an idiot. Congratulations on the realization of a dream: a room dedicated to yarn, stamps, Modge Podge, and imagination! :-)
