L for the way you look at me

Lists always do it best.

-Today I was really emotional at work. I couldn't stop tearing up. It's been a long while since I felt so overwhelmed and shaken up I couldn't hide how I felt. :(

-Today I loved it when I saw several patients give up their chairs for our elders in our waiting room. This small act of kindness makes me see God in his creation of humans, even when we're all beasts. :)

-Today I had the most encouraging time with my ex-husband. It's been such a blessing to talk with him, seek his counsel and converse as individuals seeking God's will. It's ODD. WEIRD. But at the same moment, I'm filled with joy. Hugs are amazing too. :)

-Today I really wanted to go camping. It's been so long since I've been. I love sleeping in a tent outside.

-Today I had 3 old men flirt with me. It's so cute. I can't help but feel flattered, even if I probably should be grossed out. :P

-Today port is good.

-Today my daughter told me that she really wanted to grow up and be like me. Of course I got weepy and said, "You wanna grow up and be like Jesus sweetie." She responds. "Yeah, but I see you and Jesus." ^.^

-Today I was able to pay all my due bills and I have a little left over to tuck away into savings.

-Today I listened to about 5 hours of sermons and about 8 hours of music. I turned off all audio devices on my drive to drop the kids with their dad. It was amazing. I think God lives in the still-ness...and DCTalk. haha

-Today I realized how important my parents are. Even after all this time...I would not know Jesus like I do were it not for them. I would not feel encouraged like I do were it not for them.

-Today I realized Sims 3 is coming out soon. :D

-Today was a good day because I realized that Warcraft might just be a game, but the people I've met in the game...are more than just pixels.
