Increased vocab!
I am at the point in my knitting that I am attempting clothing. I mean, other than scarves!
Enter: Ribbed Lace Bolero by 10 Feet High.
It's supposed to look a lot different than what I have in the picture.
I got so far with my bolero and I just had to pull it off the needles and frag the whole thing.
Do not confuse frag with frog.
Frogging is a term that means to "rip it, rip it" out until you've undone the mistake.
Fragging...well. In my mind, the most common term for fragging usually applies to video games and first person shooters. It's a kill point. And yes...I killed my bolero. :)
I know it was the lace pattern that I couldn't adjust to. I wasn't knitting the lace in the right way, and rather than wear it or heaven forbid! Finish it and then frag...I decided early on to just 'dispel' it, and start over.
After I had begun the killing process, I noticed a TON of mistakes in my ribbing. Way too many for me to feel sad that I was tearing up a good 2 hours of knitting.
Hopefully all this >>>>>
