exerpt from my journal

Dear Jesus,
Thank you so much for the awesome week I just had. I know that the awesome-ness of it was only because You LIVE and You reign in my family. Who would ever think that I would love my mom and my sister sooo much? I felt Your presence every single time I hugged my baby sister! I felt your presence late into the night while I talked with my mom.
I praise you for taking such good care of my family while I'm not there. You know I worry about my daddy's health and my mother's tender spirit. Thank you for taking care of them.
I know that in another world, and if the circumstances weren't what they are...my family wouldn't be the same. We might be torn, broken and full of hate. Instead, here on Earth, You've given me laughs, support and love in the physical form of my family.
