UFO's!

To push down that last post.

Here are some UFO's. (Un-Finished Objects.)

Remember this baby?! Yes, my lovely lovely picot edged lace shawl. All it needs is the edging. I am not sure where I would ever wear this because...well, I haven't worn a shawl since I was like 5 years old...however, I adore how happy the model looks in the example picture. I assumed that once I crocheted this up, I would be just as happy. hehe.

Look! My first pair of knitted socks. I believe I knitted those with size 1 needles. These probably can be classified as completely MIA. I haven't seen this piece since...well I took this picture. :) But, a pair of socks for myself is a UFO.

Alas! My lovely wonderful carpet bag! I cast on, I did a lovely job of the pearl seeded type stitch for about 5 inches. Then I messed up. I had only been knitting for a few months, and didn't know how to 'fix' my mistakes yet. Instead of fragging it to death, I left this on some waste yarn. It calls to me from the yarn graveyard. I haven't bought the handles for this project yet. :) So I suppose that this might inspire me to finish this if I spend some time at Michaels shopping for some handles!!
Jolie's Nyunning. Simple stockingnette stitch with seed stitch border. It's a rainbow of colors and we're still working on this. It's a new season of Survivor, American Idol and Big Brother...so I think this will be pulled out and knitted on more often. Her current Nyunning rag is atrocious!

Don't you just love him? I adore how he has such love in his eyes for me. I had to put this in because I thought it was way too cute. He still can't stand yarn touching him in any way, so I think he resents my knitting at times because it tickles him.

My favorite project of all time that is still not done. I loved how this came knitted up in cotton ease by Lion Brand! The pattern seemed fairly simple and the math...well, it was math, but I thought I had it down pat. I might pick this up soon because I would love to own something that is an actual article of clothing that I knitted. :)

There it is. Things I started last year and didn't finish.
I did finish.
12 hats.
3 pairs of legwarmers.
19 scarves.
7 handbags/coin purses

and a partridge in a pear tree. :)

I hope 2008 will have lotsa knitting in it.
Cheers cheers!
