Tony the StashBuster!

Chihuahuas are one of the best dogs to own because they are small, and easy to knit for.

Tony is a stash buster because he is using up all my little odd and end yarn that won't ever be enough to make anything...except a dog jacket!

As of right now, I have already finished this sweater, but it still didn't fit him correctly. He's pretty small at 4.5lbs, and he's not your regular kind of chubby little mexican bean. He's kinda lanky and skinny. So knitting something tailored to fit him is sometimes difficult because the sizing for 'small dog' is almost always too big.

So now, I am trying out Stitch N' Bitch's "Howl" sweater for the Mister T. This pattern seems well suited for us because it's really simple and there are no measurements to follow other than the ones you are required to take of your own dog!

It would be fun if I could weigh and measure how much actual yarn it would take to make him this sweater!
I know with past sweaters they have never even made a dent into a new yarn ball. So it would be an interesting fact to know.


PS. I am only slightly sorry that I post about my dog, my children and knitting most of the time.
