Tee is for Tony

Winter brings on so many experiences! Colds, flu, snow, sidewalks that need to be shoveled, and the quest to make the perfect dog sweater. :) Overall, I'm probably an intermediate level crocheter. (is that a word?) Slowly, I'm becoming better and better at reading directions for projects that I find on the internet. However, I am not really one for making afghans, or pillows. Rather, I enjoy making accessories, like scarves, mittens, hats, and of course dog sweaters. :)

Here is Tony, my chihuahua, all dressed up and ready to go! You can see that my first attempt has the sweater a little big. The pattern said it was for a dog that was 6lbs. Tony is probably a strong 4lbs now. I started a smaller sweater that is made of the camouflage yarn. It should end up a little more snug.

Ahh, not much is new really. I like learning new things, and so far this winter I've learned to knit. Which I think it more exciting than crochet, but it's harder at some points because you have to remember to mark your work, and counting stitches is sometimes more difficult for me. But, I love how it turns out! The stitches as a whole look so different than crochet.

I'll post more pictures of Tony later when I get his wardrobe finished. :)
