I want it real bad...

There is a new site in the knitting community that is probably going to take knitters and crocheters to a whole new level of project mania. It's called Ravelry. To me...it looks like a myspace for the yarn arts. hehe. From what I've read on their site you can keep track of oh so many projects, yarn, your friends, everything! Right now it's in beta and you can only get in by invitation only. :( Soon though, it'll be up and running and I'll get my hands on a useful site! heehee.

In other news I cleaned out my spare room and created a small library for my kids, and a spot for all my 'crafts'. I would still love to paint the walls and maybe put up some fun curtains or something...but in the meantime, it's so super nice to have all my yarn neatly put up in bins, and all my altered art supplies organized! I didn't think I would take up a whole room with all my crazy projects, stamps, paints and such, but I did.

I am only working on one project at the moment. It's for someone and their upcoming birthday...so I can't show pictures because I know they read this. :) So you will have to trust me that it's so much fun and I wish I had learned to knit years ago.
